ESTATE WINES

Each vintage, we produce two red wines and a Chardonnay from our Estate. Our Gemstone Estate Red Wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.  Stylistically, this wine is opulent and silky with juicy black fruit flavors and hints of floral aromas and spice.  

Our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from six blocks where our rarest clones are planted. The vines bear small and concentrated berries and create a dark ruby wine with great power and structure. Full-bodied and masculine in style, this wine exhibits a ‘Left Bank’ Bordeaux style with remarkable balance, backbone and layers of complexity. Silky tannins on the palate, with flavors of cassis, blackberry, dark cherry, vanilla, black cherry, coffee bean, spice and licorice.

The Gemstone Vineyard 2013 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, from several micro-blocks and distinctive clones from our 16-acre vineyard. This savory wine reveals notes of dried currants, juicy black fruit, leather, and dried herbs. Exhibiting gripping tannins with great depth and structure, this powerful wine should drink well for 20+ years.

The Gemstone Vineyard 2013 Estate Red Wine is a blend of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from several micro-blocks and distinctive clones from our 16-acre vineyard. This rich and complex wine is luscious and seductive with hints of blueberries, mocha, cherry cola, and creamy vanilla. The opulent, sweet and silky tannins lead to a long finish and a wine that will age for 15+ years.
